Canary Wood Pen

I finally know the names of one of the woods!  This pen was made from a piece of canary wood that was left over from a table my dad made.  The piece was about 2.5 inches long, 2.5 wide and a little over half an inch thick.  I was able to get the two halves of the pen with a little bit left over. It also had this beautiful red vein going down through one side of the piece of wood.  So I cut it so that I could include it in the pen.  The majority of the piece of wood was the color you see on the half with the clip in the pictures.  The front of the pen is the color of that red vein, which I was able to place quite well. One side of the pen is a darker red than the other.
